A while ago, God asked me to step away from the noise. The purpose was not just to “rest,” but to enter true solitude. It wasn’t the kind of solitude…
The Line Is Always Open
It’s been a while since I’ve written here. In that time, I’ve walked through a season of deliberate quiet — the kind that asks you to step away from the noise, not in retreat, but to listen more deeply.
This post speaks to that experience, so rather than writing my own version here, I’ll share it, with these thoughts:
Silence changes you.
It sharpens your hearing for the things that matter, and it makes it almost impossible to go back to speaking into the chaos just for the sake of being heard.
You begin to understand that the value isn’t in reaching the masses, but in finding the ones who are listening for something more.
This piece comes from that place — from the awareness that the time for warning has passed, and the time for simply walking in truth has come.
Not to persuade. Not to shout over the crowd. But to stand as a signal for those who are seeking, and to remind them: the line has always been open.
Resharing this feels like the right place to begin again. Because the truth is, we are all standing somewhere on the path between noise and stillness.
We’re all choosing, every day, which way to turn.
Some will keep chasing the crowd, the money, the illusion of political correctness, success, and stability. Others will pause long enough to notice a different way forward.
This is for the latter. For the ones who are listening, or who want to learn how. For those who have felt the call but weren’t sure where to find its source.
May you have the courage to quiet the static, the patience to wait for the whisper, and the faith to follow it when it comes.
