“Do not fear” appears hundreds of times in Scripture, but Isaiah 41:10 gives it a reason that changes everything: for I am with you. The Hebrew word ‘azartîkā — I will help you — shares its root with ‘ezer, the word used for Eve in Genesis 2, describing a rescuing strength that arrives from outside when your own runs out. God is not promising that the hard thing won’t be hard. He’s promising He is present inside it. The hand that holds you does not belong to the visible world. And it does not let go.
