Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. — Daniel 12:3
What’s Happening Here
Daniel 12 looks toward the end of the age, resurrection, and the final distinction between those who belong to God and those who do not. In that future light, wisdom is not measured by status or survival. It is measured by a life that shines and by the work of turning others toward righteousness.
The Word
“Wise” here is closely tied to insight that leads to faithful living, not mere intelligence. “Shine like the brightness of the heavens” is the language of glory and lasting radiance.
