Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. — Galatians 6:9

The promise is tied to “the proper time” — God’s appointed season, not our preferred schedule. “Reap a harvest” uses the familiar farming image of eventual fruit from patient labor. The Galatian believers faced pressure from false teachers, internal conflict, and the daily cost of living out their faith in a challenging culture. Doing good was not always immediately rewarded.
