Phroneite — set your minds — is the same word Paul uses in Philippians 2 for the mind of Christ and in Philippians 4 for whatever is true and good and worthy. It’s not a thought exercise. It’s the full disposition of the inner life: where attention, affection, and allegiance are pointed. And Paul’s logic in Colossians 3 is therefore — because you have already died with Christ and your life is hidden in Him, orient from that reality. This isn’t aspiration. It’s consequence. You don’t need to get to things above. You already belong there.
